Whether you have a shiny brand-new SnüzPod5, our lifestyle SnüzPod Studio, or the iconic SnüzPod4, this guide will cover everything you need to know about using our bedside cribs.

If you’ve misplaced your SnüzPod5 instructions, don’t worry, we’ve got you.
Below is pretty much everything you need to know about setting up and using your bedside crib when your baby arrives.
Of course, we recommend referring to your instructions for optimum detail (if you have lost yours, check out the downloadable version above!), but as a quick guide, look no further.
SnüzPod5 Assembly
SnüzPod crib models are designed with easy assembly in mind, so you can set up baby's sleep space in no time.
They'll come flat-packed in a sturdy and compact box, with all the necessary tools included for assembly. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the manual.
But as a brief summary, you should follow these basic steps:
- Start by unpacking all the parts and checking that you have everything you need. Lay them out in front of you so they are easily accessible.
- Next, measure your bed so you know what height to set the crib at.
- Assemble the crib stand.
- Assemble the bassinet.
- Place the bassinet onto the stand.
Finally, add the waterproof mattress protector and crib bedding to complete your baby's perfect sleep space.

Using SnüzPod5 in Bedside & Standalone Modes
To use the crib in bedside mode, it needs to be fully assembled, as per the instructions you'll get with your baby bed.
You'll then need to adjust the height so it aligns perfectly with your own mattress. The top of the zip-down wall needs to be level with the top of your mattress. This is essential for your baby's safety.
Using the zip-down wall is as easy as it sounds. You simply unzip the mesh wall, remove the metal pole, and allow it to drop down.
You should only use this feature when the crib is in bedside mode, and the wall should be tucked between the crib and your bed.
Never unzip the wall when the crib is in standalone mode. This will compromise the safety of your baby.
Next, you need to position your Snüz crib next to your bed, using the fixings to attach it firmly.
The attachment might be slightly different depending on whether you have an ottoman, divan, or frame bed, but all the information will be in the instructions, and there should be no gaps between the crib and your bed.
Once firmly in position, unzip and fold down the side panel facing your bed, tucking it between the crib and your adult bed. This feature allows you to access your little one during the night.
The standalone mode for the SnüzPod5 is great for naps throughout the day when it isn’t attached to your bed.
Again, you need to assemble your crib as per the instructions, but from then on, here's what you need to do.
The crib should be placed on a flat, even surface, away from any furniture. Please, parents, remember the zip-down wall needs to be firmly up and with the pole in the upper channel before using the crib in standalone mode.
Other than that, just be sure to supervise baby while they're napping!
SnüzPod5 Comfort Incline
The Comfort Incline feature on the crib should only be used while your baby is not sleeping.
You should also not use it if you're using it as a bedside crib—it's for standalone mode only.
To use the incline feature, simply attach two wheels to the back of SnüzPod5, where the baby's head goes (or remove two from the front if you already have them installed). Make sure the wheel locks are on.
SnüzPod5 Wheels
SnüzPod5 is equipped with four integrated castor wheels, enhancing its portability in your home. These wheels allow you to effortlessly move the crib from room to room, making sure your baby remains close during naps.
When relocating the crib, it's important to ensure the wheels are unlocked to allow smooth movement and baby is not in the crib.
Once the crib is in your desired location, engage the wheel locks to secure it firmly in place, preventing any unintended movement.
SnüzPod4 Instructions & How to Use
The much-loved SnüzPod4 also has its own set of instructions, but they’re essentially the same as the SnüzPod5.
Since it’s the older model, it doesn’t have a few of the newest features, but it’s still an excellent choice for a bedside crib. So, let’s get into the instructions.
SnüzPod4 Assembly
As with the SnüzPod5, the SnüzPod4 is designed to be easily assembled with all the tools that come included with the flat-pack baby bed.
Your crib will come in a sturdy, compact box, so you don’t need to worry about damage to the furniture or not having a space for it before you come to assemble.
For a detailed guide on how to assemble the bed, please follow the guidance on the physical or downloadable instructions, but here’s a simple step-by-step:
- Start by unpacking all the parts and checking that you have everything you need. Lay them out in front of you so they are easily accessible.
- Next, measure your bed so you know what height to set the crib at.
- Assemble the crib stand.
- Assemble the bassinet.
- Place the bassinet onto the stand.
Finally, add the crib mattress, waterproof mattress cover, and crib sheets.

Using SnüzPod4 in Bedside & Standalone Modes
The bedside mode is only safe and effective if you assemble your crib according to the instructions, so please ensure it's secure before you use this feature.
You then need to adjust the height of the crib so it aligns with your own adult mattress. The top of the zip-down wall needs to be level with the top of your mattress, or your baby won’t be safe inside the crib.
Using the zip-down wall is easy. You simply unzip the mesh wall, remove the metal pole, and allow it to drop down.
You should only use this feature when the crib is in bedside mode, and the wall should be tucked between the crib and your bed.
Never unzip the wall when the crib is in standalone mode. This will compromise the safety of your baby.
Next, you can position your crib next to your bed and use the fixings to attach it. This crib is compatible with ottoman, divan, and framed beds, and the instructions provide a different attachment method for each.
There should be no gaps between the crib and your bed.
Now your crib is in position, unzip the zip-down wall (the panel facing your bed) and tuck it between the crib and your bed. This is how you access your baby throughout the night.
The standalone mode for the SnüzPod4 is ideal for small naps during the day when it isn’t attached to your bed.
To use this feature, the crib should be placed on a flat, even surface, away from any furniture.
Please always remember the zip-down wall needs to be firmly up and with the pole in the upper channel before using the crib in standalone mode, and always supervise your baby when they’re napping in standalone mode.
SnüzPod4 Comfort Incline
The Comfort Incline feature on the SnüzPod4 should only be used while your baby is not sleeping.
You should also not use it on the SnüzPod4 if you're using it as a bedside crib—it's for standalone mode only.
To use the incline feature, follow the instructions and attach the reflux leg to the SnüzPod4 underneath the stand's foot.
SnüzPod Studio Instructions & How to Use
The SnüzPod Studio is a step away from the original SnüzPods, taking a more minimalist approach, so, of course, it has its own set of instructions and differs slightly from the others.
The SnüzPod Studio is an excellent choice, and you should be thrilled with your purchase! You’re about to give your baby (and yourself) the most restful night’s sleep.

SnüzPod Studio Assembly
The SnüzPod Studio is designed to be compact and easy to assemble according to the instructions.
Always consult the official instruction manual for detailed assembly steps and safety guidelines, which you can find when your baby bed arrives, or you can find the downloadable instructions above.
For a basic introduction to the assembly of the Studio, we’ve put together these points:
- Lay out all components and verify that all parts are there, using the parts list provided in the manual.
- Connect the wooden frame pieces using the supplied bolts and Allen key, following the step-by-step instructions.
- Secure the fabric bassinet to the assembled frame, ensuring it is properly aligned and fastened.
- Set the crib to match your bed's height by selecting one of the six available height settings.
- If desired, attach the castor wheels to the crib for added mobility.
Remember, this crib's bassinet is fixed and not removable, so it must be attached to the frame before use.
Finally, add the Studio mattress, mattress protector, and crib bed sheets to complete your baby's bed.

Using SnüzPod Studio in Bedside & Standalone Mode
Bedside crib mode should only be used when the crib has been assembled, as per the instructions provided with the crib. If you’ve done this, you’ll be good to go.
Simply adjust the height of the crib, aligning it with the top of your mattress. The top of the zip-down wall needs to be level with it to ensure your baby’s safety.
The zip-down wall is super easy to use. Just unzip the mesh wall, take out the metal pole, and allow it to drop down. You can only use this feature while the crib is in bedside mode, and the wall should be tucked between your and baby's bed.
Never unzip the wall when the crib is in standalone mode. Doing so will compromise your baby's safety.
Once you’ve done this, position the crib next to your bed frame and attach it using the fixings provided. As this crib is compatible with three types of beds—ottoman, divan, and framed beds—you’ll need to find the instructions applicable to you.
When you’re done, there should be no gaps between the crib and your bed.
Your bed is almost ready to go. You just need to unzip the panel facing your bed and tuck it between the crib and your bed to allow access to your baby throughout the night.
The standalone mode for SnüzPod Studio is perfect for day naps while the crib isn’t attached to your bed.
To use this feature, the crib should be placed on a flat, even surface, away from any furniture. Please, parents, remember the zip-down wall needs to be firmly up and with the pole in the upper channel before using the crib in standalone mode.
Remember to supervise your little one while they’re sleeping in the bed with this mode.
SnüzPod Studio Tilt Feature
To use the Comfort Incline mode, your baby must be awake, and the crib should be in standalone mode.
If your baby is asleep in bedside mode, please don’t use this feature, as it could impact their safety.
For the SnüzPod Studio, adjust one of the crib legs' height by a maximum of 2 height settings to achieve the correct mode for the Comfort Incline.
SnüzPod Studio Wheels
Follow the instructions to fit the castor wheels to your crib, ensuring they are stable before moving the crib around your home.
These wheels are the perfect addition to this bedside crib, enhancing portability and making sure your baby is close to you during naps.
When moving the crib, keep the wheels unlocked to ensure smooth movement. Once it’s in your desired spot, engage the wheel locks for firm placement. Don’t move the crib via castors when baby is in the crib.
SnüzPod Washing & Cleaning
Babies are messy little creatures, and accidents are inevitable. You should always keep your baby's crib clean to prevent potential health risks.
No SnüzPod model should be dry-cleaned, but you can clean the frame and some fabric parts of the crib with a sponge or mild detergent.
For SnüzPod5 and 4, you can also machine-wash the ComfortAir™ Liner using the care label instructions.
