Yes, there is! As of November 2020, all bedside cribs manufactured including SnuzPod5 need to meet the new crib safety standard BS EN 1130:2019. As part of the new standard, when set up next to a bed, all bedside cribs must now have a 12cm barrier or wall to prevent baby from being able to roll out of the crib, while making for easy access during the night.

SnuzPod5 builds on everything you loved about SnuzPod4, with a few key upgrades. The dual mesh view windows are new, giving you increased visibility and ventilation. The 3D mesh mattress is larger too, at 44 x 80 x 3cm compared to SnuzPod4's 40 x 75.5 x 3cm. The Comfort Incline (reflux) function has been redesigned, now achieved using two wheels to help soothe reflux symptoms more effectively. The lift-off bassinet is lighter, making it easier to carry between rooms, and SnuzPod5 has wheels built in for portability. There are 6 height settings, ranging from 52cm to 71cm — a slightly narrower range than SnuzPod4, so it's worth double-checking your bed height fits before you buy. The drop-side wall is also new to this generation.

SnuzPod5 has been tested and deemed safe for use with the wall down when in bedside mode with the top of the zip-down wall sitting flush to the adult’s bed. The mesh wall acts as a barrier to stop baby from rolling into the bed, whilst also giving you easy access during the night.

Yes, SnuzPod5 comes with a reflux leg which can be attached to either end of the crib, depending on which side of the bed it is placed. This has the effect of raising one side to help soothe and comfort your baby. Due to the requirements of the new standard, the reflux tilt feature is tested for use only when SnüzPod5 is in standalone mode with the wall up and pole in.

Yes, every SnuzPod5 includes a premium quality mattress, with a breathable cover that can be removed and machine washed. We always recommend the use of a waterproof mattress protector to ensure your mattress stays clean and dry, protecting from any little accidents.

SnuzPod5 fits more beds than any other traditional bedside crib, with a maximum height (to the top of the adult mattress) of 71cm. The lowest height setting for SnuzPod5 in bedside mode is 52cm, and every crib comes complete with straps to attach it to multiple bed styles including divan, ottoman, and framed beds.

Yes! The new ComfortAir breathable liner inside the crib can be easily removed and machine washed. If necessary, the outer fabric of the crib can also be removed and washed by hand.

Your baby should only stay in a SnüzPod until they are 6 months old. After this, they'll need to transition into a cot or cot bed.

You should also stop using your SnuzPod if your baby can sit, kneel, or pull themselves up on their own, or weighs more than 9kg.

SnuzPod5's stand has a curved base, so in standalone mode you can gently rock the crib by hand to help soothe your baby. This is separate from the Comfort Incline (reflux tilt) feature, and like the tilt, rocking should only be used when your baby is awake and supervised, not during sleep.

SnuzPod5 comes with four integrated castor wheels for easy portability around the home. Unlock the wheels to move the crib freely, then lock them again once it's in position to stop any unintended movement. Never move the crib on its wheels while your baby is inside. The wheels are removed by popping them on and off, but do not have baby in the crib when removing.

Your SnuzPod5 arrives flat-packed with the crib stand, lift-off bassinet, castor wheels, bed-fixing straps, a fitted mattress, and all the tools and instructions needed for assembly. Mattress protectors and bedding are sold separately.
